Approach

First and foremost, I am guided by a commitment to social justice.

My approach to counseling is relational, somatic, and grounded in attachment theory. I draw from Internal Family Systems therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), mindful self-compassion, ecotherapy, and other modalities.

My practice is trauma-informed. In my work with clients I apply what is known about how the effects of trauma change both the brain and the body and how therapy can help us heal.
