Healing. Growth. Connection.

Through our work together, you may learn to better understand and trust your feelings, body sensations, thoughts, and ideas. You may begin to build or regain a sense of safety and well-being within yourself as well as in your relationships with others.

You may experience less shame and become more self-compassionate.

You will start to chart your path forward.

I work with a variety of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, past trauma, relationship challenges, grief and loss, the impact of systemic oppression, adjustment to life changes and circumstances, and more.

Feel free to reach out to me to see if I am qualified to work with your particular concern. If I am not, I would be happy to point you to other great therapists who are!

I believe that healing, growth, and deeper connections are possible and worthwhile

About the counselor

My name is Karin (pronounced Car-in). I’m a Professional Counselor Associate with an M.A. degree in mental health counseling from Lewis & Clark College.

For as long as I can remember, I have felt things very deeply and have held within me a love and care for others that has continued to guide me. My own path of growth is a lifelong journey and I am grateful for my family and friends and for the solace and healing of being in nature.

I am humbled by the experience of being present with another person as they begin to see possibility and hope, change their relationship with their own pain, or feel more connected and alive.

As a white woman with many privileged identities, I am continually practicing and learning what it means to work against oppression in a world and a society that systematically marginalizes certain groups of people.
